Lead Routing & Departments turns your shared
WhatsApp inbox into a real contact center. Every new chat, lead and call is auto-distributed to the
next agent in rotation, agents are organised into departments, and any conversation — even a live
call — can be transferred in one click. It's an in-panel add-on — no WordPress plugin, no
.zip, no SDK. Once your license is active, the controls appear right
inside your WaHamster panel.
Run your WhatsApp inbox like a call center — fair distribution, departments, and instant transfers.
Key features
Round-robin auto-assignment
Every new WhatsApp chat, lead and call goes to the next agent in rotation, so nothing is missed and load is shared fairly across the team.
Departments
Group agents into Sales, Support, Delivery and more, then route each conversation to the right department automatically.
Agent access control
Restrict each agent to only their own assigned conversations, contacts and leads — everything else stays out of sight.
One-click transfer
Hand a chat — or a live call — to another agent or department instantly, without dropping the customer.
Automation nodes
Build flows with round-robin assign, send-a-template-to-any-number (a true 3-party flow), and add/remove tags.
In-panel
No installation and no download — it works inside your existing WaHamster panel the moment the license is active.
From "a new chat just landed" to the right agent
A new WhatsApp chat arrives, round-robin picks the next agent in the Sales rotation, and the conversation is assigned instantly — fairly shared, nothing missed, and ready to transfer if needed.

Hi, I'd like a quote for 200 units — who can help?
Good to know before you start
- – Chats, leads and calls are all distributed by the same rotation, so load stays even across the whole team.
- – Round-robin rotates only among the agents in the chosen department — add or remove agents to change who's in line.
- – Agent scoping is account-wide: once it's on, each agent sees only their own assigned conversations, contacts and leads.
- – The send-template-to-any-number node can message a third party — a delivery partner, restaurant or the customer — even if they aren't in the current chat.
Enable it inside your panel — no download
There's nothing to install. It works inside your existing WaHamster panel once the license is active — a license is bound to your account and unlocks the feature for all your agents.
-
01
Activate your license
Open the Plugin Store in your panel → tap WaHamster × Lead Routing & Departments → Request on WhatsApp. After activation, the feature unlocks for every agent on your account.
-
02
Create your departments
Group your agents into departments — Sales, Support, Delivery or any team you run — so conversations can be routed to the right people.
-
03
Add a round-robin assign node
In your automation flow, drop a round-robin assign node and point it at a department. New chats, leads and calls now rotate fairly to the next available agent — no manual picking.
-
04
Set agent access & test a transfer
Turn on agent scoping so each agent sees only their assigned conversations, then send a test chat and hand it to another agent or department with one-click transfer — live calls transfer the same way.
Requirements
- – An active WaHamster account
- – Agents added to the panel
- – An active Lead Routing & Departments license
- – A connected WhatsApp Business channel
Frequently asked
Every new WhatsApp chat, lead and call is handed to the next agent in the rotation for the chosen department. Assignment cycles through the team in order, so work is shared fairly and nothing sits unassigned — no manager needs to distribute conversations by hand.
Departments are groups of agents — Sales, Support, Delivery, or anything you run. You route each conversation to the right department, and round-robin then distributes it among that department's agents. It's how you run a shared WhatsApp inbox like a real contact center.
Yes. Agent access control restricts each agent to only their own assigned conversations, contacts and leads. Everything that isn't theirs stays hidden, so agents focus on their own queue and customer data isn't shared across the whole team.
Yes. One-click transfer works for chats and for live calls alike — hand the conversation to another agent or a whole department instantly, without dropping the customer or asking them to start over.
Automation nodes are building blocks you drop into a flow: round-robin assign, add/remove tags, and send a template to any number. The last one is a true 3-party flow — you can message a delivery partner, a restaurant or the customer directly from the flow, even if they aren't the person in the current chat.
